Sandos Papagayo - Playa Blanca (Lanzarote)

Look out for the drink self-service stations for cold refreshments and avoid long bar queues during peak hours.

The rooms here are air-conditioned and soundproof with all the extras thrown in.

We found everything superb, would recommend it to all. Breakfast was substantial, worth every penny views, quiet location close to a beautiful unspoilt yellow sandy beach, and restaurants/shops, lots of activities and gift shop.

I was shocked by how dirty the corridors and stairways were, not exactly the luxurious experience I anticipated. I also expected to enjoy a lovely restaurant, but surprise surprise, they were fully booked every night! Honestly, a warm welcome gift would woudl ve been nice. Guess I just don't rate as preferential enough here.

It was a very good stay for visit ten.

The swimming pools, the wide variety of food and some bars had premium whiskey as standard.

My room needed re-furbished as it was tired and outdated!

the family room had fine views, but breakfast options lacked variety.

We were with a Royal package, which is convenient. There is access to a closed bar where WIFI works well. The food is fine (again, in a restaurant for Royal). The staff is very polite and pleasant. Huge beds, you can get lost.

WIFI is unstable in the territory and in the rooms.

We like the location of Sandos Papagayo, the wonderful Sea View and Playa Blanca. This was our second time at this hotel.

The lunch bags are a bit poor, could be more variable.

Great location with easy beach access! The pools are ample and enjoyable, providing lovely spots for relaxation!

Dining options felt limited at night. The entertainment was often too loud for a relaxing evening.

It is a beautiful location, staff are friendly, the hotel is clean & the facilities are excellent. We particularly liked the new edition of the "Chill Out Terrace" & Mexican restaurant.

The Chinese Restaurant has a limited menu & virtually nothing for vegetarians.

Me gusto mucho, muy servicial.

The best part of my stay was the lovely private beach access, where I could relax and enjoy stunning sea views. The food was great, but the room cleaning left much to be desired. 😕

good facilities especially for kids

pool tables and other machines seemed to be out of order regularly but not marked out of order and still swallowed up our money. staff seemed to be in different to the problem, also there was a fantastic beach to the right of the hotel at the back just a 10 minute walk away, but we only found it on the last day. I think you need to have it in your info leaflet as i think it is a big plus for the Hotel. The cleaners did not clean the floor in our room either and as a family who like the beach more than the pool we obviously brought sand back with us which was not cleaned off the floor for the week and nearly caused a few accidents with the kids slipping on it.

Have been twice before, so going again is a good reccommendation. Food was as fantastic as always, and the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The whole place is kept spic and span and the room is always very clean.

Not sure about the new Royal Elite service, I was not offered it or given any details, and it does create an air of segregation. Not too happy with the new mattresses, but you do get used to them. They are noisy and quite hard.
